The Beasley Bash originated in 1995 as a commemoration of the town's centennial celebration, and was such a success that it immediately became an annual event.

Sponsored by the Beasley Community Committee, all proceeds from the event are distributed throughout the community via donations to the Beasley Volunteer Fire Department, Beasley Elementary School, City Hall, Cottonwood Creek 4-H, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and local churches.

Proceeds from the Beasley Bash have also been used to help local families in time of need, and a scholarship fund has been established for the Beasley Bash Queen.

Since its inception, the event has grown to include the entire community. In that spirit, membersof the Needville Volunteer Fire Department will man the gates and receive a portion of the profits in exchange for their assistance.
